I Am A Lady, Be A Man

Qwin Roose writes from the trenches, not the theory — unapologetic truths about love, self-worth, and the price of carrying a relationship alone. Her debut book arrives September 26, 2026.

Stage play · Adapted from the book · Open casting call

The book brought to the stage — the arguments, the silences, the moment a woman stops explaining herself. It is funny where it needs to be and unflinching everywhere else, and it asks its cast to be honest in front of a room full of strangers.

A Woman’s Place Foundation

The work in these pages doesn’t end at the last chapter. A Woman’s Place Foundation is the 501(c)(3) that puts real resources in the hands of women rebuilding — and it runs on donations.

“Where every woman has a seat at the table she deserves.”

A Woman’s Place Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering women and female-identifying individuals with the tools, resources, and community they deserve — built on the conviction that every woman has the power to thrive, whatever she started with.

Encouragement alone doesn’t cover a deposit, a résumé, or a safety plan. So the foundation runs eight programs that do, with navigators who stay with a person until the right door opens. Donations are what keep those eight doors staffed and open.
